Local Biz - Listings of local businesses

Please note: Our new web page listing local businesses lists businesses of all types - shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, tradesmen, professional and other services, but not holiday accommodation - there are already pages on the website for self-catering and serviced holiday accommodation (if you have a holiday accommodation business but don't already advertise on www.looe.org please contact us for details - use the "comments" box on the form below - remember to give your email address and/or telephone number otherwise we will not be able to contact you).

Businesses listed must be located in Looe or within 3 miles of the town.

For applications received before 31 December 2011 the cost will be £25 + VAT for 12 months.
From 1 January 2012 the price will be £60 + VAT for 12 months.

Each individual listing is based around a photo (size 240 pixels wide x 180 pixels high). Send us a suitable photo at this or a higher resolution. In the case of shops, restaurants, pubs etc the photo could be of the shopfront, shop window, an interior view, or a photo of the product being sold. It would be nice to have some photos showing the shop owner, chef or whoever, in front of the shop, restaurant etc. If you want a large photo to be able to be clicked out from the small one in the listing we can do this but this extra facility will incur a one-time cost of £30 + VAT (we'll need a large version of your photo - 500 pixels wide or preferably larger).

There is room in the listing for very brief details of the business + contact information (telephone number, email address and website address if you have your own website). The registration form (below) allows for up to 140 characters of text but we may have to shorten or edit the text to fit the listing.

We may introduce a rolling "slideshow" on the website's homepage as a promo for and link to the business listings page - you can be in this "slideshow" if you wish on a paid basis (£50 + VAT per annum)

We reserve the right to decline to include a listing if we feel it does not fit the above criteria or would otherwise be inappropriate.
